Aristolochia
Karl Blossfeldt (1865 – 1932) was a German photographer who became particularly well known for this type of strictly formal plant photography. In terms of photographic art, he is considered a representative of New Objectivity.
The photographs captivate through the use of lighting and the astonishing wealth of detail. As a result, some plants look almost like metal ornaments. Through and through: Timeless classics!
