Abrecht D\u00fcrer’s Frauenbad<\/strong> is a pen and ink drawing from 1496 “, which shows six women and two girls in a bathhouse. D\u00fcrer, who was just 25 years old at the time, gave his work a voyeuristic aspect by inserting a man – barely noticeable – into the picture who is observing the women. The women depicted represent different ages and their appearance ranges from graceful to grotesque. It is assumed that D\u00fcrer’s Bath of Women served as a counterpart to his Bath of Men, which was created around 1496-98 and has some common elements.” (Wikipedia)<\/p>\n
